TIL: Dropbox switched at some point in the past to moving all your files online by default so you can't access them anymore while offline. I've tried playing around with the settings to keep all of them offline -- no luck (especially new files disappear). So, Dropbox has now been deleted from my computer. Oh well, it was a neat thing to have when it came out 15 years ago...
