"content": "Then the timeline gets a bit fuzzy for me, because we go from that to RS-330, or possibly RS-343, or both. I can't find copies of either, only people summarizing what it says. Its major change compared to RS-170 is that the peak to peak signal level is reduced from 1V ±0.05V, to 0.714V ±0.1V.\n\nIn parallel, color TV was happening, and so component video (not the same as composite video) was a thing. Component video just means you carry color information as multiple separate signals.",
