There is something about most of the content on corporate social media that reads in the soul as an advertisement, propaganda and or plastic. It feels artificial. It ends up being dehumanizing because everyone isn’t treating each other as human beings. It’s a race to see who can have better propaganda or who can be a more savage edgelord. (It’s actually not that edgy to be an edgelord because everyone is doing it now.) Users don’t leave full they leave empty and lonely. There is very little sense of community.

Nostr is the actual punk move because it peacefully rejects that norm. It is an act of courage to reject the norms of the world sometimes. Nostr encourages nourishing content and real relationships online and offline. Nostr is the future.
