Web platforms are all getting worse by the day — whether it’s streaming media, social media, shopping, food ordering, search, or whatever else… you name it. Everything is getting super enshittified as platforms get better and better at what they do.
Given that all these also perform the invaluable service of aggregating and centralizing the search for people and things, isn’t time to develop more fair systems, or at the very least, regulation? The time feels ripe for a revolution.
