Just noticed: any nostr.band links or even my own npub posted on Primal get auto-converted to primal.net — would love to see this be optional in the future.
ANY LINK containing my npub key gets autoconverted to my pimal.net profile:

Primal rewrites anything that even looks like an npub string, even if it’s:
Not a hyperlink
In plain text
Not formatted as a URL at all
They’ve built in a strict regex pattern that matches Nostr identifiers (like npub1..., note1..., nprofile1...) and wraps them in primal.net URLs no matter what.
->> To bypass this, use bitly.com to generate a short url.
This, IMHO undermines the spirit of Nostr to a degree
I should be able to post content EXACTLY as it appears -- maybe there is and I haven't figured out a way to do that yet, so apologies in advance 😉
