Learning Spanish has been a rewarding and challenging journey for me over the last 5 years. I figure I've only got another few decades to go.
All jokes aside, becoming conversational really does require dedication, discipline, and doggedness. And time. Lots of time. If you're serious about learning it, hit me up, and I'll let you know what's worked for me. In the meantime, Duolingo really is a great way to get started if you've only got a few minutes a day to dedicate to it.

The American dream has turned into an American trap.
I hope someday to retire to El Salvador and get out of this mess. Will be learning Spanish and working towards a dual citizenship.
