I agree that the ethics are really bad
if you are going to work FOR SOMEONE ELSE (meaning not as a consultant) it’s likely they will start expecting you to use these tools
setting yourself on fire figuratively speaking is not great
nobody know the future but being prepared for different versions of the future can only be helpful
