There were maybe three points of technological superiority in the entirety of WWII: Germans had radios in every tank, which became standard for everyone and shortly moot; the M1 Garand was the only standard issue semi-auto rifle for most of the war; and American ships had radar gun-laying systems, while the Japanese generally did not.
Radar air detection was also more common for the Allies, but generally speaking there was no technological gap that mattered aside from the above. The Ukraine conflict has shown that everything is more advanced and more expensive, but is destroyed just as quickly as before. The more that is destroyed and is too complex to easily replace the better, especially IFVs and the like that could be off-loaded to law enforcement like the post-GWOT MRAPs.
