some people seem to be under the impression that postmarketOS somehow owes the "alternative init system community" our continued support and advocacy.
What these people fail, miserably, to understand, is that not only are these alternative init systems so, So far behind in feature set, they don't even come close to getting the basics right.
postmarketOS adopting systemd is a reflection on the state of the ecosystem. This one just isn't our fight to fight.
