“Since this is coming up, I have nothing but appreciation for Mastodon and ActivityPub. We had another approach we wanted to take and that’s it.

It’s pretty normal for people to root for their communities but it’s not zero sum and we should be rooting for every baby turtle to make it off the beach.”
