Different apps for different purposes. Obsidian is my main “daily logging” tool and also my personal knowledge base: it allows trivial adding of quick notes but stretches to any need I might have, while not slurping the data into a proprietary format.
Other apps in regular use: Apple Notes mostly for lists type info and for sharing with the family; Notion for some more structured data (but I’ve been moving more of that to Obsidian).
