Maybe I changed, but it seems somewhere after the Trump junta settled in, he got progressively more incoherent and just...well, dumb.
He certainly wasn't always that way but I can't tell if this has been a long slow decline I only recently noticed or if he really somewhere between 2017 and 2020 discovered he liked being a butt clown.
