I’m happy in the relationship and have been for the last 10+ with my partner.
I would never tell them this and I don’t think it often but some days I think about how hard it is to be in a relationship with someone with a significant mental disorder that is also moderately disabled.
Again I love them and wouldn’t change things, but sometimes I grieve about parts of life I miss out on and the energy needed for caretaking
