Nobody gets time off to vote here! Well, not as a mandatory thing, maybe some companies do it voluntary, I don't know.

But the expectation is generally that, if you don't work close to your polling station, you should vote either on your way to work in the morning or in the evening after you've finished. Or vote by post.

The good thing, however, is that unless you live in a very rural area, your polling station will almost always be only a short distance from your home, so it's not too disruptive. And voting is quick.

As I work from home, I'll be popping over on my lunch break next Thursday.
