if colour e-ink displays can solve the greyscale text clarity issue without impacting refresh rate I could genuinely see them being good for electronics design work, since you can tweak your EDA tool's colour scheme to match the native pigment colours. I wouldn't pay £1500 for one like they're asking now, but I could absolutely see myself using one in a flexible dual monitor setup if I was doing EE work all day.
