#Linux server (VPS) monitoring/alerts. What do y'all use for simple/basic monitoring and notifications? I don't have much experience with these programs, but things like Zabbix/Nagios/Prometheus seem like they might be a bit overkill to monitor a single VPS. But then I'm also not sure writing my own scripts would be good enough. Though, maybe I'm wrong on that. It would be a good learning experience. Idk. I'm reading some articles but I'm curious to hear some other opinions.
