To fellow boomers, I am debating about Medicare and would value your input. I anticipate one more year of excellent employer health insurance. But we are in a Medicare open enrollment period right now.
I have cataract surgery scheduled for early 2025. Should I enroll in Medicare now or wait it out until next fall and enroll due to employment termination? Cost might be close to my insurance copay for surgery.
I am also debating original + gap vs. part C. It should not be this hard!
