I have just finished reading #TenYearstoSavetheWest by Liz Truss, and I could not find any specific reference as to why the title of the book states “Ten Years” to Save the West.
Is there a correlation between the authors timescale and that of the US CBO 2024-34 forecast?
The United States Congressional Budget Office (CBO) forecast for 2024-2034 estimates that the US debt-to-GDP ratio will reach 130.6% in 2034.
For the last 224 years, 51 out of 52 countries with a debt-to-GDP ratio above 130% have defaulted.
