People who are not librarians and know nothing about libraries tell me what to do. For most of my time there, administrators left me alone to run the library as I saw fit, but now they have ideas, and are running me ragged trying to follow their nonsensical orders. I can leave in one more year.
I hope to work in an academic library, where the people telling me what to do will be librarians themselves.
