I didn't see this coming, at all. That's probably because I've been genuinely out of most loops for the past decade, but I was once young and reasonably knowledgeable. We really did think the machines would be taking care of physical labor, not writing and drawing. I am talking about people in 2000 imagining the year 2100. We didn't envision it at all.
