Weird fallout from the debt ceiling bill: far-right members of the GOP are now preventing any votes on any bills, even GOP-popular ones like gas stove bills to teach McCarthy a lesson (though unclear what that lesson is). Presumably he’ll find a way out of the impasse, but for now, it appears that the GOP’s main priority is blocking itself. Which, again, kinda odd.
