Before I came to the #fediverse, I used LinkedIn for ppl I know through work, Facebook for family (and a few close friends), and Twitter for public conversations.
Now I've left Twitter (my public conversations are here in the fedi), and I check LinkedIn only a few times/year, but unfortunately my extended family is still on FB, so it's hard to leave there completely.
