I would imagine fresh air could be an issue in a glass enclosure, for sure. Have you tried a different bedding with this run? Maybe it's too dusty? Also make sure your heat source is easily escaped so they can regulate their temp. We usually use the heating plate they can sleep under. I wouldn't think dehydration would be an issue unless they're not getting water.
