I respect Bill Watterson's artistic integrity too much to approve of people modifying Calvin & Hobbes for their own messaging.
Charles Schulz wouldn't have minded, as he licensed the Peanuts' likenesses to every commercial interest imaginable.
Please leave the boy and his stuffed tiger alone in their reality. Some things are simply sacred.
