I unplugged my BT to FM adapter for diag purposes while in a parking lot, leaving the stereo quietly on the static.
Well, I just got someone's GPS telling me exactly where she lives, and what highway she's taking!
BEWARE OF FM ADAPTERS! ANY FM RADIO CAN HEAR ANY INFO YOU TRANSMIT TO YOUR CAR STEREO OVER FM!
Stereos in which you use BT directly to the stereo are not affected.
