#ScribesAndMakers May 5: What word(s) always trips you up when writing? Common misspellings or misusage
The words derived from Bureau (bureaucracy, bureaucratic, etc.). I spent real time as an adult learning how to spell that word and I still have to think about it every time I type it.
Which version is breath vs. breathe. Kneel. Shear vs. sheer. Weep.
I'll also confess I have to think about its vs it's, their vs. they're, etc. In the case of their vs. they're, I technically know which one is right but I have to think about it because my brain is doing some kind of ... phonetic fuzzing before my fingers get their own chance to mangle the words.
