Emma and Emily 🏳️⚧️ (nprofile…7t0y) You've encountered what a lot of folks hit when they first reach about that distance. I remember finishing my first 13km distance and getting jelly legs the instant I stopped running.
You may need to look at hydration before and during the run, and maybe some quick acting carbs.
What's important to know is that it's not unusual at this point in your running journey. I think it's something that your body adapts to fairly quickly, but the first time it happens it can be extremely disconcerting.
