Because I've been tagged in a few posts about it now, I'm going to opine on what I think NAS is (and isn't).
tl;dr: NAS is whatever *YOU* make it.
I'm grateful to have friends, interesting acquaintances, weirdos and dipshits I sometimes make fun of, doers, memers, shitposters, and lurkers all present here. The same can be said for many users and operators on servers NAS federates with.
NAS is a social media site for making connections and sharing bits, nothing more.
