Does anyone else get "I wish I had told you so" moments?
I've saved myself from some bad life-altering decisions pushed by people with credentials, due to my innate skepticism and distrust for authority. My hesitance often turns out later to be fully justified, but I am at the time unable to articulate myself well enough to convince others to follow my example. So I say nothing.
Now a close friend suffers the consequences of one of those decisions, and I wonder if I should have pushed harder.
