Hmm, food inflation continues to rise above the headline rate of inflation (partly due to rising employment costs from the rise in NI) but while it remains below 3% (at the moment), I wonder whether we will see this utilised as another reason to delay the widely expected reduction in interest rates from the Bank of England.
Will these 'inflationary pressures' see the BoE/MPC again conclude the continued pain of high(er) interest is still required?
