I am sure, when it gets to this, publishers will say it is too long, too many characters, etc. People tend to want a cleaner, simpler flow. But I would put what I've done in the "epic" category and, somehow, it all fits in my little brain and I know what happened when and why. Even when I did what I did this last draft when I wrote an entirely new opening which forced major reworking of the second half of the book. Whew.
