#TIL: Github-flavoured Markdown supports alt text for images.
Whereas the default syntax for pictures on Github is , it accepts an alt text in the square brackets and a description in quotation marks after the path: .

The alt text is displayed if the image doesn't load and for screenreaders, the description is displayed on mouseover.
