(International _political_ precedent will make it difficult to see how the first half of the arguments can be actioned - I mean, Taiwan is still around which is how I'm understanding the applicable analogy on which country "inherits" established/premised sovereignty in the international system question.... But looking at how Taiwan exists is still instructive imo)
