I'm straggling to understand how it's a big deal. I might be mistaken but, a) hypercore is not that new and was re-branded at least once if I remember correctly b) various holepunching techniques existed since at least early 2000s and were used extensively for example by skype already back then c) DHT which is a part of the story is also not a new thing and has been used by bittorrent for decades already (which has been a big deal btw).
I don't have anything against keet per-se. I'm just confused by the fact that tether (the most successful stable coin business) is pumping keet awkwardly hard. this does not make much sense to me. why keet and not say lightning or/and nostr?
