I'm painting my witch balls purple this year. Traditionally, witch balls were used to ward off evil spirits and witches and keep the evil eye distracted by shiny things.

I like the idea of warding off bad spirits with hypnotizing shiny things. So, I plan to fill them with a variation of a protection spell jar and hang them by the window.
