A couple thoughts about Mastodon passing 15mm accounts.
I'm glad people are still adding accounts here but the numbers remain pretty modest compared to most other platforms. It also took waaaaaay longer to get from 14 to 15 than it did to go from 13 to 14mm. Growth has definitely slowed, at least for now.
Most importantly, the true important number is monthly active users. I haven't seen a good source for this lately but it seems somewhere between 1 and 2mm. Far less than the 15mm.
