Amazing spot, great people. They aren't as high as you think, as the town sits at sea level. Often you can see Beluga whales popping to the surface for a bit of sun, or an adventurous local, surfing the bore tide.\n\nhttps://nostr.build/i/c7bb2ce7c689233c2940b539c531957ca056fbf2991668275811da9a6eb46fa4.jpg\n\nThe Bore Tide is a natural phenomena. It happens twice daily, at speeds of 6-24mph, and heights of 6\" to 6'.\n\n\nIf you get the chance, Girdwood is certainly worth a visit. You won't be disappointed.\n\n#nostr\n#photostr\n#photography\n#normie\n#nostrnormie\n#alaska\n#girdwood\n#surfstr\n#surfing\n",
