SFMTA is patting themselves on the back in their Slow Streets report, but the data tells another story: one of inadequate and intentionally watered down “infrastructure” leading to lots of speeding cars

- downgrading barriers to meaningless purple signs cause traffic and speed to increase
- median speed is the wrong metric
- see those outliers? some people are driving 40 or 50 mph on a Slow Street. that’s insane and a massive design failure
