I'm so glad that my Stabil Max cleats arrived today. Now, I can walk without fear on the solid sheet of ice that runs through our woods.
I had some cleats before, but I had to stretch them on over the shoes, and my boots were a little big for the stretch.
Snowshoes are the best if there's enough snow, as they also have grabbers (picks) on the bottoms. They are definitely more work, though.
