I assume the receiver can be powered on by HDMI-CEC but what about amplifiers? Can your family members easily turn everything on with the correct settings for music vs movies or television?
I've lived in the receiver and multiple amplifier world and I'm not sure I want to go back; however, it's been quite some time since I had that kind of setup.
