I moved to a new country and found myself lost. It was like the person I spent 29 years getting to know was unfamiliar. One day after watching church I heard plain as day “fast” so I did 24 hours water only. Coming out of the fast I felt like I should stop creating excuses for going against my gut. Every time I did I ended up hurting my own feelings.
So now once I get a gut feeling I go with it. Idc if I’m the odd man out because of it. I’m not going against myself. I feel like the consequence of that is wandering and too much of that leaves me lost and shameful.
