But even if you did want to, I don't see how Steam would be easier than just downloading Starfield from TPB or 1337x, I found a torrent for the game from a well known repacker in under 30 seconds. You click download and then run the game. It's the exact same process as steam except it's even easier since the step where you put in your cc details isn't required.
I don't see how Steam is offering any convenience compared to torrenting. Even if it was slightly harder to get it via torrents you're getting to own the game for free instead of paying $50 to not actually own the game
