I just finished reading Taylor Lorenz's book, Extremely Online.
I had never heard of most of the influencers she talks about (but I never claimed to be cool 🤓 ). I did find one insight particularly interesting: She shows how, time and again, the creators of social media platforms never anticipated how people would use their creation and what it would become.
I will try to follow the hearing today on the Trump gag order in the DOJ J6 / Judge Chutkan case, but I may have other obligations.
