Until today I never had string cheese. I don't think that existed here when I was a kid, and I always thought it was just normal cheese sliced in long slices (like 3x3x200mm) and then stuck together into a, say, 15x15x200mm form.
Anyway it was on sale today so I got a package and it's not what I thought but treated cheese consisting of long, very thin strings and it's really _weird_ lol. Although it does remind me somewhat of mozzarella.
