This country is ruled by SOPs. The rw revolution will be the restoration of the primacy of human judgment over Best Practices and Standard Procedures.
Ironically, best practices and sops occupy the position formerly held by Tradition. IOW "this is what has worked in the past" aka tradition has been formalized (really it's fake, some McKinsey or RandCorp PMC femoid writes a paper about a "best practice" and 5 years later the CDC and local government are citing it like Ancient Law) and because the formalizing process is itself top-down (prescribed rather than described) the "tradition" is a complete fabrication without any connection to the real world besides what PMC girlbosses think will get them a promotion or funding.
