My father smoked #Chesterfields most of his life. He stopped smoking them when he was about 60 when a doc finally told that they'd kill him. He lived to 89 but at 87, a hole developed in his lung. The ling was removed but the other was extremely compromised & he had to be hooked up to sn oxygen tank til he died.

If he never smoked, he might have lived as long as my mother who died when she was 101.

I smoked #Camels for a couple of yrs when is was a teenager. I was a light smoker & only did it for "show.". I quit one day when a cig had burned to ash in an ashtray & saw that it left any ugly trail of gooey tar in its path. I never smoked a cig again after that.

Camels & Chesterfields are both unfiltered but Camels are a third shorter than Chesterfields. I once tried smoking one of my Dad's Chesterfields & it was WAY stronger than one my Camels. Never tried one of his cigs again & frankly I'm surprised that my father lived as long as he did.
