Huh, I just decided to fact-check an ad for the Citroën Ami that claimed it would make life cheaper. Obviously this depends on parking options at your destination, but looking at London, a zones 1-4 annual travel card is currently £2,568. You can lease, insure and charge the Ami (I even included a set of tyres) for about £5,000 over three years. In short, the ad is right, running an Ami is almost certainly cheaper than public transport in London. Which is all wrong, if you think about it. #EV
