I used to feel that way, but then I figured I've only got so much energy to be angry at things, might as well spend it wisely.
My experience is probably more an indictment on Windows, but I don't think KDE makes me any more angry than it used to, and it sure as shit don't make me as angry as using Windows or even a Mac does.
I keep meaning to try getting Mate working as that's the UI I liked best but I've landed on KDE twice now. 🤷♀️
