When I was a kid, I was probably at or near the peak of the demoscene. My close friend got me into the music being created and he and a few other friends got into Scream Tracker (s3m) and Impulse Tracker (IT). Listening to these old tunes brings back a ton of memories from my childhood. Just came across https://chiptune.app/ on Hacker News that have a number of tunes including popular classics. Fun to take a listen again.
