Teaching bitcoin since 2013 has made me realise:
Democratisation isn't simply a mechanical transfer of power from a sovereign or central authority down to the population. Rather, it's also an internal, ethical, and psychological shift that emerges from within individuals and communities.
And it is a painful evolution of cognitive and moral reasoning.
